- 1923 Munich/Beer hall Putsch
- An attempt to overthrow the government after protesting the French Occupation of the Ruhr - Supposed to be like Mussolini's March on Rome - It fails - Both Hitler and Gen. Ludendorff arrested and sent to Landsberg Prison Mein Kampf - While in prison Histler wrote "Mein Kampf" (My struggle) with the help of Rudolph Hess - He outlines the future of Nazism in this book including: - Lebensraum - Anti-Semitism -Anti-Communist - Need to re-arm and get rid of Versailles - The rise of the Aryan Race “Truly, this earth is a trophy cup for the industrious man. And this rightly so, in the service of natural selection. He who does not possess the force to secure his Lebensraum in this world, and, if necessary, to enlarge it, does not deserve to possess the necessities of life. He must step aside and allow stronger peoples to pass him by.”
